Desilter Cyclone
The most technologically advanced Desilter Cyclones on the market.Because of its 15 to 25 micron separation, TR has created this unit to provide the best possible performance. The flow rate of each cone is constantly 100 GPM, even in the most demanding applications.
Inline involute feed Desilter Cyclones, consisting of high wear resistant polyurethane, are used to reduce turbulence and increase tangential velocity in desilter high volume round and inline involute feed Desilter Cyclones. Desilters are meant to remove silt-sized (20 to 74 microns) materials from drilling fluids, and they are used in the oil and gas industry.
Individual cone removal and inspection are made possible by the use of isolation valves installed on the entrance of each Desilter Cyclones. This prevents the desilter from being stopped during the operation.
Advantages of Desilter Cyclones
l Easy to use
l Microns: 15–25 Separation
l Variable size apex inserts, 80 GPM per cone, 75 feet of head
l Optimal performance requires fewer cones.
l Plugging is minimised by using a high volume cone.
l Reduced mud loss by using apex size per situation.
l Cone with a large capacity and a low plugging rate.
l Polyurethane with a high wear resistance.
l Easy-to-maintain clamp design
l A tiny footprint and compact design
